Our Trainers

Born a Canadian, Michelle is accustomed to hard work and cold weather. Growing up swimming, playing hockey, rugby, and soccer, she developed a love for physical training and sports. Her hard work earned her the Hope Scholarship at the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science. Michelle worked as a Personal Trainer at UGA until deciding to pursue a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of South Dakota. Michelle worked in adult rehab at Memorial Hospital for 6 years and still works as a Certified Occupational Therapist in Colorado Springs. Michelle’s favorite part of training is being around fantastic people, and seeing people improve their lives and by getting and staying healthy. When Michelle is not at the gym or treating her patients, you might find her in the mountains on a Mountain Bike, hanging out with her friends, skiing in the winter or out for a run, usually followed by a happy hour. She is also loves swimming, as well as spending time with her two fantastic and energetic kids
 

Addie Smith is pursuing a B.S. in Health Science with an emphasis in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She is Maddogg SPIN Instructor certified, TRX Suspension Trainer certified, and currently in an intensive program to obtain her Registered Yoga Teacher-200 Hour (RYT-200) certification. Addie was also the trainer for Samford University’s Crew Team for two years, in which she created, coordinated, taught and individually assessed each team member’s fitness level and the best means of improvement. As a competitive gymnast, skier, and cyclist she has developed a love for physical training. She has a passion for holistic wellness, believing that mindfulness to various modalities of exercise and nutrition promotes a balanced and healthy lifestyle. In her free time, Addie can be found enjoying everything Colorado outdoors has to offer—hiking, road cycling, skiing, yoga classes and sketching.

Shahid Rahman earned his Bachelors in Economics and International Affairs from CU-Boulder. As an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, he brings passion and perfection to each class here at Kineo Fit. As a TRX-certified instructor, he believes overall strength begins with a strong core and an active outdoor lifestyle. Members love Shah’s attention to detail during class and that he genuinely cares about each individual’s success. A mountain bike convert, he enjoys Colorado Springs single-track network and its hilly roads. Off the bike, Shahid can be found riding his motorcycle, baking cheesecakes, sipping coffee downtown, growing a mustache for a bike race, supporting local musicians, chasing gophers out of his garden and avoiding television.
Juan Gonzalez was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico. Juan is a Mixed Martial Arts veteran with over 15 years’ experience as a professional and amateur fighter. Permanently sidelined in his early 20’s due to an unforeseen eye injury, Juan turned his focus to coaching other Martial Artist. In 2010, Juan met Raquel Pennington, who at the time, was the #1 ranked Women's Amateur MMA Fighter in the USA. After at first agreeing to be her Kickboxing Coach, he was soon appointed as her head coach. Since the anointment, the two have amassed an impressive 4 fight win streak in the always stacked UFC Women’s Bantamweight Division! In addition to his Professional MMA Coaching Experience, Juan is also a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Personal Trainer and Certified Group Fitness Trainer. He is Nationally Certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Keith Jackson Is the creator and co-founder of Kineo fit. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise physiology from Cal State Fullerton, Keith was a top personal trainer in California and Colorado. During which time he received certifications from NASM, certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist, and from ACE as clinical exercise specialist. Keith was also a cycle instructor and a head track and field coach. With more than 16 years of experience in the fitness industry, Keith had a desire to bring the most advanced and complete heart rate based fitness solution to Colorado. As some-one who enjoys road and mountain biking, backpacking and snowboarding, Keith wanted to create a fitness concept that was as dynamic and diverse as the Colorado lifestyle. Keith is pleased that Kineo fit more than delivers on these goals and is motivated by daily testimonials of member’s success. In his free time Keith enjoys spending time with his wife Nicole and 3 kids, Aidan, Kori and Wyatt.
